Juanita’s career in juice production started in 1992. Through a variety of roles, from accounting to customer service and inventory management, she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Juanita has been with FruitSmart since the inception of the company in 2005. Not afraid of new challenges and taking on new responsibilities, her career continued to grow, and now she leads the purchasing and production planning departments. As director of purchasing she is responsible for the sourcing of all raw materials, juices and juice concentrates, ingredients, packaging, and processing supplies. As production planning goes, she believes that working closely with other departments is the key to success. Outside of FruitSmart, Juanita loves spending time with her family and friends. She is also very active in her church.
