Pomegranate is one of the world’s most ancient fruits, with an interesting history. The fruit originated in Persia but spread throughout the Mediterranean region. The Spanish brought it to the Americas in the 1500s. The fruit has a two-part husk, the firm outer pericarp and the spongy inner mesocarp, where the flesh-covered seeds reside. The red juice is sweet and tart. It is used in many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines, but is used worldwide in many forms, from fresh, juiced, to dried seeds. It is a source of carotene, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, and antioxidants.
Juice concentrates are at the core of what we do. When the fruit is not grown in our area, we procure product from select, pre-approved suppliers from various parts of the world. Everything we sell goes through rigorous evaluation and testing procedures. Juice concentrates are stable products, easy to store and to transport, and work extremely well in beverages, hard seltzers, cocktail mixes, kombucha, and any nutraceutical application.
